Ties are Tough

Ties can be tough. They fly in the wind, drop into food, fall out of vests (so obnoxious!), and swing into trouble. And although tie pins and chains can help with these fails, it can be difficult to find options matching more comfortable, modern styles. Consider doctors and physical therapists. Many in these professions wear ties to boost appearances and earn the trust of their patients. Unfortunately, the same confidence-building tie can become a patient-bothering nuisance during exams and evaluations when not properly secured. Etiquette would scream at the thought of a physical therapist’s tie smacking a patient’s face during stretching. Enter Dapper Dots.

One piece of Dapper Dots double sided tape, cleverly positioned between your tie’s tag and your button-up shirt, will easily keep your tie out of your way. You don’t have to be a doctor, or even a rocket scientist, to appreciate the beauty and prospect of good tie-control. Rather, all you need is to have spent one windy day outside in a tie. Dapper Dots has your back – there are no more excuses for chasing your tie like a dog chasing its tail! You’re welcome.

So, how do you keep your tie from falling out of your vest, dropping into food, and hitting your eye in the wind? It’s easy and will take about thirty seconds:

  1. Remove a strip of Dapper Dots tape leaving exposing just one sticky side

  2. Firm-press the sticky side to your shirt, between buttons, a few inches above your naval

  3. Stand up straight, let your tie fall into position over the tape, then press the tie into the tape

  4. Enjoy a Dapper day!
